Discovery 3/4 and Picard 2 both bring the aspirational vibe back in big ways, but if you’re not patient enough to get through their set-up I can understand.

SNW is extremely cool and succeeds in ways I believe the Abrams film reboots attempted but failed. But by definition it can’t plumb the same depths as Picard, and it can’t cut new trails the way Discovery can.

The only ST shows I’m really not ever in the mood for are Enterprise and Prodigy. But I recognize them as “notes in the scale,” if you will.
